Oakley have clearly spent time perfecting the optical clarity of the Jawbones, while the cleverly designed hinged frame that opens wide makes swapping lenses a piece of cake.
Unfortunately some testers did find that the chunky frame impeded their peripheral vision. The polarised lenses came into their own in bright light, improving contrast while removing road glare, though even when using vented lenses we suffered steamy-window syndrome.
Despite a secure, comfortable fit and crystal clear optics, we would most likely opt for other Oakleys – the excellent Radars for instance – if we were parting with our hard-earned.
